Etto

I went to Etto  (on 14th and Q St. NW) yesterday for the second time and the food was utterly amazing again.  I love it’s low-key demeanor-reminds of a quaint little restaurant I ate in Florence last summer near the Duomo there.  It’s Neapolitan-style pizza is great if you don’t want to schlup all the way out to the National Cathedral area to go to Two Amys.   And unlike Two Amys, this is more of a young adult crowd.

I recommend the Eggplant Parm, Margarita pizza, and chocolate cake.  The cake is divine and is hands-down the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had in my life.  It’s definitely a must-try.  Now all we need to seal the deal on this delectable dining experience is for the patio to open!
